The UK’s BAFTA Film Awards were presented yesterday, February 2nd 2020, at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
1917 by Sam Mendes triumphs with seven awards while Parasite celebrates the tenth month running in which wins something and Joker, one of the best movie in 2019, won three awards.
The double nominations for Margot Robbie as Best Supporting Actress – for Bombshell and for Once Upon A Time in… Hollywood – and the double nominations for Scarlett Johansson in two different categories – Leading Actress for Marriage Story and Best Supporting Actress for Jojo Rabbit – didn’t bear fruit: on the acting front, in fact, the four winning names are those who have so far won everywhere (Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Lara Dern and Renée Zellweger):
